My wife and I volunteered with the Christadelphian Bible Mission in East Africa. We facilitated daily seminars in 51 churches across Tanzania, Kenya, and Zambia, supported two Red Cross refugee camps with logistical coordination and aid, and oversaw construction of an orphanage in Sumbawanga.

At Barclaycard (1987–2016), I modernised legacy systems—migrating SAS reports to PHP/MySQL, replacing mainframes with C#.NET, prototyping and deploying multi-tier VBA/SQL Server applications, and converting Visio workflows into robust, strategic intranet modules. Earlier, I automated PDQ terminal accounting, programmed EPROM firmware, and automated warehouse ordering, cutting fulfilment times significantly.
