I am a highly experienced technology strategist and transformation leader with a career spanning over three decades. My work has consistently focused on aligning technology with business strategy to deliver meaningful, measurable change across complex organizations.
One of my most significant achievements was my leadership in a multi-year transformation programme at Barclays Bank. I began by architecting and coding a bespoke enterprise-wide process mapping system based on the Zachman Framework—an advanced methodology for enterprise architecture. This system enabled Barclays to gain a comprehensive, structured view of its operations, laying the groundwork for deep organizational insight and strategic decision-making.
Over the following three years, I led teams that meticulously process-mapped every function across the bank. This was not just a technical exercise—it was a strategic initiative that involved engaging stakeholders across departments, understanding operational nuances, and creating a unified view of how the bank functioned at every level.
With this foundation in place, I applied Lean Six Sigma principles to identify inefficiencies, streamline workflows, and optimize performance. Processes were simplified, redundancies eliminated, and operations realigned with the bank’s strategic goals. The result was a more agile, efficient, and resilient institution.
